No. We move what needs moving away from the walls, cover furniture and floors, and put things back when we're done. If there are fragile or valuable items, we'll ask you to set those aside.

Yes. We can talk through colors and sheens with you during the estimate and suggest what works for the room, the light and how the space is used. Trying sample patches on the wall before deciding is always a good idea.

A single room is often done in a day or two. A whole interior or a full exterior takes longer, and exterior work depends on the weather. We give you an expected schedule with your estimate and keep you updated.

For cabinets that are solid and laid out the way you like, painting is a much less expensive way to change the look of a kitchen or bathroom. The key is proper prep — degreasing, sanding and a bonding primer — so the finish holds up to daily use.

Ceiling texture applied before 1980 can contain asbestos. If your home was built before then, we ask for the texture to be tested before any scraping. Once it's cleared, we seal off the room, protect everything below, and remove the texture.
